What happens right after I pay?
You land on your private dashboard and your first scan starts automatically. We generate your buyer questions from your website, ask every assistant, and email you when the report is ready — usually within 5 to 20 minutes depending on the plan. You also get a confirmation email with a sign-in link; afterwards you sign in with your email, no password needed.
Which AI assistants do you check?
ChatGPT and Claude through their official APIs with live web search turned on, so answers reflect what those assistants find on the web today. We also ask Gemini and three open models — DeepSeek, GLM and Kimi — which answer from what they learned in training. ChatGPT and Claude refresh every 3 days on Starter, every 2 days on Growth and daily on Managed (the weekly scan always includes them); rescans in between use the other four. Answers in the consumer apps can differ slightly (personalisation, location, app version); our Methodology page explains exactly how we ask.
How does billing work?
You are billed monthly via Stripe, in US dollars or in euros (EU, EEA and Switzerland), starting on the day you subscribe. Invoices and receipts are available in the billing portal. Business customers in the EU can add a VAT ID at checkout.
Can I change plans or cancel?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the billing portal in your dashboard. Plan changes are prorated by Stripe. If you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and you keep access to past reports.

Yes. If MentionNorth is not useful to you, email us within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. See the Refund Policy for details.
What does Managed add?
Everything in Growth, plus a monthly strategy call, two AI-ready content pieces a month written for you (comparison, use-case or FAQ pages), technical fixes specified for your developers and same-day priority support.
Is the free audit the same as a paid scan?
No. The free audit is a quick check: one buyer question asked to small versions of ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini plus DeepSeek, GLM and Kimi, all answering from training data without web search. Paid plans use the flagship ChatGPT and Claude with live web search — what buyers actually use — and Gemini 4, plus 25 to 150 questions, the sites AI cites, competitor benchmarking, every recommendation and weekly scans. Results on a paid plan can be quite different from the free audit.
